IMPORTANT: PLEASE PASS THIS INFORMATION ON TO YOUR BUILDER
Acid Wash
No Responsibility will be taken if painted metal surfaces come into contact with ACID when cleaning brickwork. Please advise acid wash contractors to wash off and rinse with clean water all Fascia, Gutter, Downpipes, Windows and Steel Doors. Product warranties are void if corrosion occurs as a result of contamination.
Flashing & Capping
Zinc Aluminiun Coated steel or soft Aluminium sheet may be used.
Lead & Copper
Do not use lead or copper with Zinc Aluminium Coated Steel. Existing lead may be painted with a high gloss paint.
Protective Plastic Film
Ace Gutters rollform products are protected with a polyethelene (plastic) strippable film to ensure your product is protected during the manufacturing and distribution process.
This film is easily removable and is manufactured from a recyclable material.
Please be advised that this film must be removed prior installation and must not be left out in direct sunlight or heat during the warmer months.
Ace Gutters recommend that our rollformed products be placed under cover and or in a shaded area until you are ready to have the product installed.
