EXCEL® TAPWARE WARRANTIES

1. Warranties in relation to Australian Installed and Supplied Products

Remedies are available to consumers under the Trade Practices Act 1974 and similar State and Territory legislation where goods are installed or supplied within the Commonwealth of Australia.

Ace Gutters will repair or, at its discretion, replace any goods which are defective through faulty workmanship or materials within twelve (12 months) of the purchase of goods.

With an additional  twelve (12 months) replacement parts only warranty offered on Ceramic Disc or Jumper Valve spindles only, bringing the total warranty on these items to 2 years. Some exclusions to this warranty apply due to the fact that the following items are designed to be periodically replaced and/or maintained:
- Jumper Valves
- O'Rings

In any instances where the tapware has been installed in a commerecial or industrial application it would be covered by a twelve (12 months) replacement parts only warranty.


Defects in the goods caused by improper use, improper installation, surface damage caused by installation, improper care of goods or failure to observe any one or more of the following will not be covered:-

1. applicable Health Acts; and
2. damage to tapware or any other property where goods have not been installed in accordance with regulations and/or other standards which govern the water supply and sewerage plumbing requirements as set out in AS3500 section 13. (clause 13.3 PRESSURE REQUIREMENTS; provisions shall be made to ensure that the maximum operating pressure at any outlet, other than a fire service outlet, within a building does not exceed 500kpa.)(Clause 13.5 COMMISSIONING; when a water service has been completed and tested, the operation of all valves, cisterns, taps, pressure relief valves, and other components shall be checked to confirm their correct performance.)
3. any tapware not installed by a Licensed Plumber will void the warranty.
